Privacy policy

Updated: 2026-10-18

NextBit GMAO is a maintenance management application published by NextBit. This page explains which data the website and the mobile app process, why, where they are kept and how to exercise your rights (Algerian Law 18-07 of 10 June 2018 on the protection of individuals in the processing of personal data).

Who processes your data

The customer organisation (your employer or the client) decides which data it records about its assets and jobs; NextBit hosts and processes them on its behalf, and processes account and billing data on its own behalf.

Data processed

Account: name, email address, phone, language, password (hashed), two-factor authentication. Organisation: legal name, NIF, NIS, RC, AI, address. Maintenance: assets, requests (with the requester’s name and phone), work orders, time spent, parts, meter readings, regulatory inspections. An audit log of changes and the IP address of sign-ins.

Photos, voice notes and signatures

The app uses the camera and the microphone only when you ask it to: a photo of a failure or of a nameplate, a voice note describing a problem, the signature acknowledging a job. These files are attached to the request or work order concerned and seen by the organisation’s authorised members. A nameplate photo is sent to the automatic reading service (Anthropic) to fill the asset card, without being kept there.

Phone and notifications

To tell you about a work order, the app records your phone’s notification id (Firebase Cloud Messaging, Google). Work data is also kept on the phone so it works without network; it is erased when you sign out.

Why

Providing the service (contract), billing the subscription, securing accounts, sending the notifications you expect (email, WhatsApp when the organisation turned it on, mobile notifications). No advertising, no sale of data.

Service providers

SATIM (CIB / Edahabia card payment; NextBit GMAO keeps no card data), Google Firebase (mobile notifications), Meta WhatsApp Business (messages, when turned on), Anthropic (nameplate reading, when used), the outgoing mail server. Each receives only what it needs.

Hosting

The data are hosted on NextBit’s servers. Traffic is encrypted (HTTPS) and each organisation sees only its own data, separated down to the database.

Retention

For the time of the subscription. After an account ends the organisation is told, then its data are deleted 90 days later; invoices are archived for the time accounting law requires. The organisation can export all its data at any time (Organisation → Export data).

Your rights

Under Law 18-07 you may access your data, have it corrected, object to its processing or ask for its deletion. Ask your organisation first for maintenance data, or NextBit at the address below. You may also refer to the national authority for the protection of personal data (ANPDP).
